Our stockings are soft, flexible and easy to put on; not like the cardboard ones your grandmother wore! These stockings will make your legs feel great. Pantyhose and knee high levels are available in a variety of sizes.

Spider Veins are just the tip of the iceberg, WHY? Spider veins are surface veins and they often herald a deeper, more serious problem known as "leaky Valves" in the legs.

"I want to see any patient who has spider or varicose veins EARLY so we can avoid the venous ulcers and darkened skin that comes with time with leaky valves." We don't want you to end up with legs like your grandmother! Not all spiders veins are a definitive indicator of valve disease, however, only an Ultrasound can determine the presence of leaky valves. All patients have a Venous Ultrasound in our office. If there are no leaky valves, Dr. Gutowicz may use a combination of Injection Sclerotherapy of your veins and Laser. Sclerotherapy involves using tiny needles to inject a solution into the vein; the solution stops the flow of blood in the vein. Laser applies energy to the surface of the skin, eliminating blood flow thru the vein. Immediately following the Laser treatment, veins will be similar in appearance to a scratch. The length and number of your treatments varies based on your condition; however, most sessions last between 15 and 20 minutes. We can use either method or both (Injection Sclerotherapy and Laser) any time of the year as long as a skin protectant such as SPF 15 lotion is used on exposed areas. All our therapies are FDA approved.
